These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at jwlutz.com and its subpages, including the Lutz Consulting Group section at jwlutz.com/consulting (the "Site"), operated by Lutz Consulting Group, LLC, a Nevada limited liability company ("LCG," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. The Site

The Site is an informational and portfolio website. It presents Jack Lutz's personal portfolio and the services of Lutz Consulting Group. Information on the Site is provided for general purposes and may change or be removed at any time without notice.

2. No Client Relationship or Professional Advice

Viewing the Site or contacting us through it does not create a consulting, professional, or client relationship. Any engagement between you and LCG begins only under a separate written agreement signed by both parties. Content on the Site is provided for general information and is not legal, financial, technical, or other professional advice for your specific situation.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Site lawfully. You will not:

  • Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Site or the systems that run it.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its infrastructure.
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest content from the Site at scale.
  • Submit false, unlawful, infringing, or malicious content through the contact form.
  • Use the Site to violate the rights of others or any applicable law.

4. Intellectual Property

The Site, including its text, design, code, graphics, and the Lutz Consulting Group name and marks, is owned by LCG or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and share the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse the Site to build a competing or substantially similar product, or to train or ground machine-learning models, except for ordinary quotation with attribution. Case studies and client work shown on the Site remain the property of their respective owners and appear as portfolio reference.

5. Your Submissions

If you send us a message or materials through the Site, you confirm that you have the right to send them, and you give us permission to use them as needed to respond to you. Any feedback or suggestions you send us may be used by us without any obligation to you.

6. Third-Party Links

The Site links to third-party websites and services that we do not control, including the live projects shown in our work. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION ON IT IS ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LCG AND ITS OWNERS AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO PARTS OF THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LCG and its owners and agents from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Site or your breach of these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the Site or these Terms that is not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when they last changed. Your continued use of the Site after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
